B       ARI INDIA PvT MARINE ENGINE ROOM SIMUALTOR

Consists of (1) integrated Instructor Station and (4) Trainee Stations (8 trainees in total), with Main Engine Module MAN B&W 6S60MC.

The ARI Engine Room simulator re-enacts under real conditions various types of machinery and equipment, as used in a ship’s Engine Room. The operation of machinery and systems are simulated to actual conditions.

The simulator is intended to provide the following types of training:

The simulator is designed to train Officers of liquid cargo tankers and gas carriers with the primary goal to safely perform and monitor all cargo and ballast operations.

The liquid cargo handling simulator replicates a cargo control room, allowing a comprehensive study of the tanker layout, including its machinery and systems, according to international standards and requirements. The ship models we use provide following functionalities: general arrangement of the tanker and its systems, control of vessel ballast and cargo system, control of trim, stability and stress, prevention of oil pollution from the ship.

D       UNITEST POLAND ELECTRONIC MARINE DIESEL MAIN ENGINE SIMULATOR

Consists of (1) integrated Instructor Station and (4) Trainee Stations (8 trainees in total).

This simulator offers the trainee the opportunity to learn the main principles of diesel engine operation, their theory and their construction. The program describes how the diesel engine works, main components and operation, including the fuel injection, combustion and turbocharging processes.

 

Available Models:  W-X35 FPP, W-X35 CPP, W-X62, W-X72

Classic engine room with low speed engine and fixed pitch propeller (W-X35 CPP controllable pitch propeller). Three diesel generators with power management system, steam boiler and heavy fuel oil operation.  Simulator covers electronically controlled three different Winterthur W-X engine family (35, 62, 72).

Available Models:   MAN – LER3D, VER

Low speed engine and fixed pitch propeller. Three diesel generators with power management system, steam boiler and heavy fuel oil supply. VER is available in two versions, classic with camshaft and electronic control.  VER software offers only 2D presentation.

E        ARI INDIA PvT GMDSS SIMULATOR

Consists of (1) integrated Instructor Station and (6) Trainee Stations (12 trainees in total).

A multi station classroom set up, the GMDSS simulator provides a highly realistic operating environment to trainees and fully simulates equipment including INMARSAT B, INMARSAT C, MF/HF with DSC, VHF with DSC, NBDP Telex over Radio, NAVTEX, EPIRB, SART and Portable Emergency VHF as usually found on board merchant vessels

Additionally, QMS MTC also has inhouse Real Equipment Consoles for SKANTI 1250 and JRC JSS 800 series.

F        ECDIS JRC & KELVIN HUGHES REAL EQUIPMENT CONSOLE

By utilizing ECDIS real equipment consoles, the trainee is able to garner a realistic hands on approach to the actual machinery on board to provide Officers with the knowledge required to use this ECDIS for watchkeeping as per STCW/ISM.  The overall objective is to enhance navigational safety through safe operation and a thorough understanding of the onboard consoles.  The course covers equipment familiarization for the functions and controls of the JAN 701/901/2000 JRC and Manta Digital Kelvin Hughes ECDIS.

G       NAPA FINLAND INTACT DAMAGE STABILITY SOFTWARE

Consists of integrated instructor and ten (10) trainee PC workstations

H       Complete Medical First Aid, surgical equipment instruments and supplies, dummy doll with human dimensions for medical care and CPR/BLS practice
